FLYING EAGLE ‘A'S'

The Clark County Flying Eagle “A's”is a new Ford Model A Club located in Clark County, Washington and serving Southwest Washington State and Northwest Oregon. The Club received their MARC Region appointment and a MAFCA Chapter designation in the second quarter of 2007. The Eagles were started by several Model enthusiasts that desired a Club that had a spirit of good fellowship, sociability, public involvement such as shows and parades, providing member's involvement and information in the restoration of the Model A, and having a Club that is considered a FUN CLUB for its members.

The Club is a non-profit organization that is growing rapidly since is founding and now has approximately 40 members. We are dedicated to bringing owners and others interested in the Ford Model A together in restoring and maintaining part of automotive history. The Flying Eagles serve as an information center in exchange of ideas, information, and parts for the restoration of the Model A Ford.

The Club publishes a monthly newsletter, “The Eagle A News”, which is delivered to the members over the web site, delivered to the meetings or mailed. The newsletter includes past activities, pending activities, classifieds, technical bulletins, and other interesting news that have occurred at the Club and/or to members.

The Flying Eagles attempt to schedule at least one tour per month to an event or location determined by our members. In addition, a monthly General Membership meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month at the Fourth Plain Church of the Nazarene, 16807 NE Fourth Plain Road , Vancouver , WA 98682 . The General Meeting begins at 7 PM.

The Board Meeting, generally scheduled on selected and announced dates, is held in the homes of various board members. The meeting is open to the general membership but is attended by the board (President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Editor, and past-president). The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and resolve administrative topics.

The Clark County Flying Eagle “A's” strive hard to make the Club a truly “FUN” Club and an enjoyable social learning experience. We welcome all individuals that own a Model A or have interest in the Model A hobby. You do not have to own a car to join our FUN CLUB and grow with us in this community.
